 ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERS

ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION OF KITCHENER AND WATERLOO

(Carrying on business as The K-W Granite Club)

 Take notice that the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Athletic Association of Kitchener and Waterloo will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011, 7:00 pm at the K-W Granite Club, 99 Seagram Dr., Waterloo.

 Take notice that the following matters are to be considered and, if appropriate, approved:

 a)         To receive and approve the reports of the Directors and the Financial Statements for the year ended April 30, 2011

b)         For the election of the Board of Directors

c)         For the appointment of Accountants

d)        To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting

 Members who are unable to attend the meeting in person are requested to complete, date and sign the enclosed form of proxy and return it to the Secretary by Monday June 20, 2011

Come out and watch some great curling Wednesday April 6^th

Featured will be the Men’s and Women’s Club Championship finals. The winners will be representing the Granite Club in the fall at the Dominion Club Championships.  The games start at 6:00 pm.

Following the curling at 8:30 pm there will be a short ceremony to celebrate our new lease and we will be recognizing our curlers who have enjoyed provincial and national success – including the CIS Laurier Lady Hawks curling team, the IGC Junior Lady curlers and the K-W Blind Curlers.

Prizes for the Monday and Wednesday Night leagues will be presented
